2025 Vintage has landed

White Heron Estate's 2025 Sparkling Wine landed today and there is much excitement in the air at the estate offices. We completely sold out of the 2024 vintage, and were eagerly awaiting the fruit of 2025's labours. We are not disappointed - and can confirm that this year's White Heron Estate Sparkling Wine is better than ever. The dry, sunny summer of 2025 sweetened our White Heron Grapes beautifully - the Seyval Blanc, Madeline Angevine and Reichensteiner were all perfectly ripe at harvest time. They were then balanced and fermented using the Charmat method to make a beautifully quaffable wine - lightly sparkling and easy on the palate - think hedgerows, elderflower,and apples- the very essence of Herefordshire. It has a gentle fizz that bubbles gently in your mouth - just delicious. The great quality local restaurants that stock our fizz, which include The Riverside Inn in Aymestrey, and The Green Dragon in Hereford,  will also be very happy that it's here in time for Mothers Day and Easter.

White Heron Estate is offering its property guests a complimentary cream tea, with fizz, naturally to help celebrate Mother's Day. What a way so spoil the mothers of the family - a weekend in a cottage amongst vineyards, cider orchards, and blackcurrant fields; an afternoon tea hamper with home-baked scones with jam and cream (which first in Herefordshire?), excellent quality Trumpers Tea and our own fizz. All locally sourced of course!
